Why this Movember isn't about money for us.

November is here and that means that men all over Britain will be donning that most 70s of attire...the moustache.

Women everywhere will cower as these lip caterpillars grow and the attractiveness of the male population takes a dive, but fear not, the men of the Man Cave are here to make the moustache look cool...ish.

That's right, this year we have jumped on board the train and we don't want a penny from you.

We haven't been on the block very long and with that n mind, we think that having your support in the form of social media follows and shares will give us much greater value.

If you would be so kind at to add us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, we would love for you to share our posts and share in our ambitions.

From day one, we have had a goal of tackling the stigma around mental health, especially in males and working with everyone to develop a society aware of their mental wellbeing.

Wellbeing, I hear you ask, what is that?

Well, every time you speak with a health professional, they ask about your diet, exercise and alcohol consumption (anybody else lie at that point?). But how often do they ask how you feel?

Not physically but mentally. How are you coping with life? With the very much still ongoing pandemic? With work? With expectations?

Not often, if ever?

So your mental wellbeing is precisely that a barometer of your mental status. It changes daily, and it varies based on workload, financial situation or the latest sports score.

We want people to know what works best for you because your mental wellbeing is exactly that. Yours.

That's why here at The Man Cave, we value our social catch-ups and our members have found they are a great tool to add to their arsenal.

In these meetings, we don't openly discuss mental health, but we do talk about life, laugh, bicker, and share our latest family comedies, but most of all, we connect with people who, in difficult times, we can turn to.

So this Movember, when you see us wandering around with our poorly grown and dishevelled looking moustaches, please think about that person who just needs a kind word, and if you can give us a share on social media too.
